Hello everyone!

My name is Inês Mesquita, I'm 28 years old and I'm a proud Duriense and Transmontana.

For some years now I have shared the time between Porto and my native village - Medrões - which is right in the heart of the Douro Wine Region. I am a mechanical engineer by profession, but an eternal passionate about photography. Over time I realized that I was lucky to have, from my bedroom window, a view of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. That was how @thedourogirl was born, to share with you the most beautiful thing I see, whether it be from my bedroom window or from the walks I take here.

So I will continue to show you this wonderful province, now with increased responsibility, but with the enormous honor and joy of being an Ambassador of Douro!
