Plots of 55% Touriga Franca, 30% Touriga Nacional, 5% Tinta Roriz, 5% Sousão and 5% Tinta Amarela. The grapes are harvested by hand, in boxes of 20 kg, at their ideal point of ripeness leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks equipped with a temperature control system. This wine aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
