Quinta do Pégo Grande Reserva 2015 is the result of a careful selection of wines of the 2015 harvest.The wine is produced by winemaker Wouter Pienaar. The grapes for this elegant red wine are grown at Quinta do Pégo, this wine is produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão grapes. This elegant wine has been matured in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Afterwards the wine has been matured in the bottle before release.
The wine presents great elegance with a rich, ruby colour. A variety of berry flavours and oaky overtones contribute to the complexity of the wine. The oak is already well-integrated and combined with a soft tannin structure will ensure good maturation potential and freshness.
