The event 'Terras do Demo Wine & Food' will take place next weekend in Moimenta da Beira, June 17th and 18th, to show some of the best products of the region in gastronomy and wine.

Tascas and tasquinhas with traditional snacks and to the taste of each parish; tables and tables to enjoy the flavors; and an exhibition space for the sale of Terras do Demo wines and sparkling wines from the Agricultural Cooperative of Távora. It will all happen in an open-air market, to be installed in Praceta Comandante José Requeijo, in Moimenta da Beira, on the weekend of June 17th and 18th.

 

It is the 1st edition of "Terras do Demo Wine & Food", an event that inaugurates the programming of the county in the poster of the event Douro - European Wine City 2023.

"The goal is to combine the excellence of Terras do Demo wines and sparkling wines with the best local cuisine. And it is also to reactivate and show all the dynamism of the associations and institutions of our parishes that the covid-19 pandemic has somehow faded away", explains the Mayor of Moimenta da Beira, Paulo Figueiredo, who invites the general public to attend the event.
